and the Oscar goes to... Capote
I dun know the results of the Academy Awards yet, only sth like 12 hours later... but then wat makes me think so is tat after watching the movie Capote today w antho. The protagonist is an excellent one, which i think pretending a fag queen sooooo much alike! right from the start of the movie, it shows how the 'way' he's holding the newspaper; from wat he wears n to 'show-off' in front of ppl; the shrilled sound which realli cant help myself laughin when first heard he spoke in the first few mins of the movie. But then wat the movie describes Truman Capote also let me think how ppl 'stereotyped' SOME AJs - witty, sly, unethical ... ?? Though it was merely the character of that novelist himself, i can also think of some of the AJs (esp. fags) got all those characters. Well at the end, I cant stop thinking that how 'unethical' his acts will pay him back? and the answer is a YES. Capote is very-haunted by the verdict of the two murderers, and from the end of the movie, we know tat he didnt write any more novels after this one - In Cold Blood, and later he died from diseases related to alcoholics. Is this sort of the pay-off for his 'unethical-ness'?P.S. The actor must be doing a good job in portraying the real person Truman Capote, i just think he looks so alike William Hung LOL n sort of dumbass silly boy wahhaha LOL (though a bit over-acting on being a fag in the beginning of the movie)
P.P.S (on noon of 6th March) Capote realli captures the best actor award! Congrats!!
