When Ah Jeis / See Lais Also Buy Stocks......
Ah Jeis (namely working mums) & See Lais (namely housewives, but more local, 'wet market' type who will bargain hard for saving a dollar for veggies LOL) are a bunch of ppl who's a very ACCURATE indicator of the peak of the stock market... (Believe me! This is very powerful street wisdom!) There is an old saying that when everyone / Ah Jeis / See Lais are also crazy in buying stocks, the stock market is not far away from great plunges!!!
Today i heard from my Ah Jeis in office that they r v interested n planned to buy the newest IPO 2689, which causes a fever in the city, partly due to its attractive price; effect of some rich men joining this game; and more - recently many China stocks soared double-digit % growth in just a week or so...... me was planned to buy this IPO days already, but then when i heard those Ah Jeis saying so, i told myself "OMG... the mkt is near for big corrections!"
Then they told me all their stories of "successful investing" ... subscripting to IPO 981 (oh damn... i m one victim as well); buying the oh-so-famous PCCW 8 at the peak of cyber-fever: (buying at sth like $25-30 which now only worths $5); and those famous "saving plans" offered by HSBC, which claims fixed % growth in every year, only knowing that it's linked with interest rate, and now the money being 'eaten up' by an increasing rate.
oh well well, when i heard them telling me one and another of these 'stories', i realli feel like an alarm is sounding... quit the stock market soon!!! LOL
well, let's watch the mkt for some months and see what happened =p
