Jay Chou
Yet, this song's still in the playlist n running...

Public Transport Etiquette
As a frequent commuter due to work, and usually sleep (real deep sleep!) during the 1-hr+ journey, I always get disturbed n annoyed by the lacking of public transport etiquette of MOST HK ppl! True! Most HK ppl got no etiquette at all!!
I regarded the following acts / misbehaviors are doomed to death... the list arent exhaustive though, feel free to tell me more and i'll add to the list, if i cant agree anymore:
- Playing w/ ringtones! (This is the no.1 misbehavior n shd be sentenced to death w/ immediate confiscation of mobile forever!!)
- Crying babies (This is equally evil with death sentenence no.1, but the one to be punished r the parents... cant u get ur babies shut up!?)
- Endless chit-chat n rattling during bus trip (esp. when everyone's sleeping already!)
- Endless phone chatting (esp. noisy gals or loudsy mid-aged men!)
- Nail cutting in public (hygiene-ically poor)
- Cosmetic making ladies (mostly seen in crowdly-crowded MTR in morning... ladies, u shd do that in front of the mirror @ ur home!)
- Flip-flapping of newspapers, together w/ poking of neighbors by the pointy papers
- Leaning ur wholeself to the handrails in MTR (darn... i'll sure disturb these ppl by sticking my hand to the handrail!)
- Slow moving / blocking the opening doors, as well as on the bus stairs
- Standing left on the MTR escalators (i'll sure give a noticable "JIT" sound to these ppl, and then give them another 'excuse me' warning!)
- Eating w sth strong odors (u know this can realli waking ppl up... not becoz of hunger, but tats just a disturbance to sleeping on the bus!)
- Talking abt odors... those ppl who uphold their arms n showin armpits in crowded MTR trains when holding handrails .... uuurrrrrggggghhhhh! (that's real terrifying n i dun need to describe anymore)
- Knees kicking the back of the front seat in buses (so be warned... not to sit in front of a tall guy in buses)
sigh... this list can keep running, and i think HK shd learnt from japanese that all mobiles must be switched to silent mode or off n ppl shd refrain from talking on trains or buses. but well, HKers like to 'break the rules' rite?

Shellfishes started to settle down in my stomach this year...
if anyone of u dont laugh becoz of language reasons... here's the summary:
The standard of using Chinese-character words among Japanese has seen a decline in recent years, and an org. quoted some of the most hilarious examples:
1. "I started to settle down overseas this year" written as "Shellfishes started to settle down in my stomach this year" (Well, arent shellfishes suppose to live in our stomach?!!!)
2. "Thx for coming n visiting me" as "Thx for wearing mini-skirts" (I shall give my thanks to bois who'd wear tank tops then!)
3. "Answer sth correctly and you'll get a cash prize" as "It's all about money in the political circle" (yeh... it just point out the fact... nth interesting)

Newly appointed Secretary for Justice
From humble Wan Chai roots to top of legal tree
The SAR's new legal affairs chief represents a classic Hong Kong story - the rise from the working class to the pinnacle of society.

The SAR's new legal affairs chief represents a classic Hong Kong story - the rise from the working class to the pinnacle of society.
Newly appointed Secretary for Justice Wong Yan-lung is a 41-year-old senior counsel who came from a humble family that lived in a cubicle in Wan Chai during his childhood.
His father, Wong Kam-lit, retired a decade ago after working as a hawker selling ice cream outside the Peak Tram Terminal in Central since the 1960s. ......
...... But even when Wong junior graduated from Queen's College secondary school in Causeway Bay with outstanding results in 1983, few expected he would rise so far and so fast.
The turning point came when he received a scholarship from the present finance sector legislator and Bank of East Asia chairman David Li that sent him to Cambridge University in Britain to study law.
Wong returned home in 1987 as a barrister.
His mentors included Andrew Li, the SAR's chief justice, and Benjamin Yu, a senior counsel and younger brother of Article 45 Concern Group legislator Andrey Eu.
Although he developed a close relationship with many senior counsels during his 18 years of private practice, Wong kept a low profile in the legal profession while he served three separate terms on the council of the Hong Kong Bar Association.
He was appointed a senior counsel in 2002.
But the public know little of his political beliefs even though he was one of 850 lawyers who marched to the Court of Final Appeal on April 19 this year to oppose the SAR government's decision to request the National People's Congress Standing Committee interpret the Basic Law concerning the term of the chief executive.
As an election committee member representing the legal sub-sector, he also did not offer his nomination to his current boss Donald Tsang in the chief executive election in June. ......
it's cool to get a 41-yr-old 'young gun' to be one of the leaders in HK... however, what the hell he's to do w a "HK classic story"? Everyone seems to like somebody who is hard-working, excellent academic results, and possess a stellar career... but not many HKers receive scholarships to Cambridge rite? w the 'flooding' use of the term 'HK classic story' ... the HK govt may consider shooting a promo with all those 'successful HK stories' to replace their current 'flying dragon' symbol then..... uuurrrrgggggghhhhhhh =P

Kick Off!
- It is said that the blogger world is so influential that it shakes journalism and impacts politics (Ad Time! See how they describe) ... i m not that ambitious, however pretty sure that i wanna share my two cents here, probably a bit on current issues, but mainly to share my thought and inspirations.
- This should be the main force to end me up writing here... with my very cozy work and the lack of english-practising-opportunities, i believe my english language level has reached a crappy point that i need some emergency shapeups ... preventing me from writing "please see attached xxx for your information... best regards, robii" only! With the stimulus of another friend of mine in their email conversations, i m not gonna help myself from going to one of those famous Wall Street stuffs, but to sharpen up my vocab and writing HERE (vote of thanks to Bran, ur emails r actually amusing)
- I managed to have a journal-writing habit, dating back to secondary 5... well that's historic... but i do wanna link up my current bits n pieces indeed... coz that meant sth to me as well (go to one of the links aside!)... hm.. i should go into details for this... anyone realised that mostly single person keep up a diary-writing habit? Dating people is too busy to write as their time goes for dinners and movies; couples are too busy to write as they r too busy for the bickering and remedying relations... but i hope that i can continue writing no matter my status =P (big grin), anyway writing is always a better way to express myself instead of speaking, considering my 'express-myself-obstacle' syndrome (haha)
- I m not sure if this is relevant, however with my new laptop (Thinkpad X32 is soooo cool!!!) i feel a great desire to use it to finish some tasks, not just only surfing the web and chatting with friends... well while i m using this, i also realised that i can play with a bit of HTML language here & there... not to say bloggers sounds like computer-nerds like me!
