Public Transport Etiquette

As a frequent commuter due to work, and usually sleep (real deep sleep!) during the 1-hr+ journey, I always get disturbed n annoyed by the lacking of public transport etiquette of MOST HK ppl! True! Most HK ppl got no etiquette at all!!

I regarded the following acts / misbehaviors are doomed to death... the list arent exhaustive though, feel free to tell me more and i'll add to the list, if i cant agree anymore:

sigh... this list can keep running, and i think HK shd learnt from japanese that all mobiles must be switched to silent mode or off n ppl shd refrain from talking on trains or buses. but well, HKers like to 'break the rules' rite?

Comments:
Yeh! I think playing ringtones/ cutting nails/ eating fries/ bitches shouting at phones should be doomed to -18F!

As for babies.. well I sympathise their mums. Sometimes it's really not easy to quiet the child.

If people flip-flap their papers onto you... do the same! Revolt and regain your rightful territory of your seat!!

Standing on the left - some people from other places (e.g. Singapore) do stand on left on escalators: I'd forgive their stupidity not to learn the correct way here. For others, I'd perform my 'Down Dragon 18 Hands' and shout 'Sze Hoi!' :D

And as for armpits - um actually I don't have this problem!! Hahaha... Well for the unfortunate you, probably the best thing to do is to find a nice place to stand next time :)

hahaha very mean rite? just cant give any respect to those who 'mis-behave-er' like that... btw of course i mean those 'si lais' n mainland tourists who like to stand on the left, given they see all ppl standing on the right already! i've once even asked them to read the signs on the side of escalators!
and those odor things in MTR... heee sometimes the person is not even next to u to 'smell' that... uuurrrrggggg XP XP

A great list! Those are very much the things that annoy me when I go back to HK for holiday!

Just to add onto your list!

1) When they bumped into you/stood on your foot – they DO NOT apologize, AND they look at you like it is your fault for not moving out of their way!!!

2)When you are trying to get into a lift when the door is closing - even if you scream at the top of your voice for them to hold the lift, they pretend they did not see you and just stood there and refused to hold the door for u!

Just some of the things that make my holidays a little less enjoyable!

Al ;)

Thx =) ... u know ppl consider tat's kinda amusement when they see u rushing in the lift but ur effort in vain? they feel great when the doors r closing n yet u cant reach it! as i'm one of those! haaaa *wink*

ONE WORD - EVIL!!! hehe

Ah well - maybe I should give it a try myself!
