Mr Holland's Opus
Not a movie review here... wanna get this wrote yesterday, but realli too tired to get it done anyway...
Been to my boss's (we called him Sir) retirement farewell dinner last nite, the scene has recalled me the final scenes of Mr Holland's Opus - touching. a realli nice gentleman he is, all he received are warm praises. Tat's realli difficult for a man to be flawless, (actually also impossible for someone to be totally evil) and being his subordinate for abt 1 1/2 yrs, every comment abt him is positive, and Sir got respect from all gps of ppl. During the dinner, various guests came up to stage and shared their fond memories with Sir, from his boss to his subordinates... not to mention everyone travelled a long way to this remote hotel n greeted w him. though this was the first time i attended a formal farewell dinner, but i think Sir's one was real class n a touchin one, probably becoz of his great charisma.
So this is history when i m writing this now.. thx u Sir! u got all my respect! n tat's a great pity such a good boss is retired... sigh (again)
