Quality of HK citizens

There is a news today abt the health level of HK ppl is rather "alarming", and this sounds rather astonishing to me too:

I forgot from where i've read or heard abt... but obesity is a sign of "uncivilsed" in a developed / rich city. This is because after a family gets richer, they just afraid themselves or their child cannot hv enuff to eat, and so they keep on eating / feeding their children without knowing they r obese. In those families, many parents also got the misunderstanding that children being "white n fat" is a sign of health-iness, which sadly, is just the opposite.

Another thing that prompted me to write on this topic is sth i experienced on the bus today (which i listened to many many times indeed). An apparently rich family is chatting on the bus (there r also a young child there)... this whole family is chatting in "half cantonese, half english" (this is VERY common thing in HK), however, there r always this irritation to me that though their english sounds nice, i tot they just used OBSESSIVE english words, r they just to showcase to other ppl on the bus? .... Obviously teaching their child to speak in english since young is a good thing, but honestly if u wanna teach them real good, they shd speak in English for the "whole sentence" or otherwise, dun say it at all w mixture of cantonese...

well, enuff blah blah blah for myself... but all these "small things" can show the quality of HK citizens... though they r rich, however most ppl's mind or soul (wa! so serious) is rather "unhealthy"... and just in case parents wanna teach their next generation to be a healthier ppl, they shd also mind these things too =p

P.S. Hope i m not fat or speaking half canto & eng... tell me if u realised tat hahaha
